John Smoltz & Pat Hentgen Signed 1992 World Series Baseball with “96 CY” Inscriptions (Greenshields Collection)
Official 1992 World Series baseball signed in blue ink by Hall of Famer John Smoltz and Toronto Blue Jays ace Pat Hentgen, with both players adding “96 CY” inscriptions commemorating their respective 1996 Cy Young Award-winning seasons.
Smoltz captured the National League Cy Young Award with the Atlanta Braves, while Hentgen earned American League Cy Young honors with the Toronto Blue Jays, becoming the first Blue Jays pitcher to win the award.
