1991–93 Robin Yount Game-Used & Signed Louisville Slugger Professional Model Bat – MEARS A10 – JSA LOA In Progress (Greenshields Collection)

Exceptional Robin Yount game-used and signed Louisville Slugger professional model baseball bat dating to the 1991–1993 period of the Hall of Famer’s legendary career with the Milwaukee Brewers.

The bat has been professionally authenticated and graded by MEARS (Memorabilia Evaluation & Research Services), receiving the prestigious final grade of A10 with certification number 323814. According to the accompanying MEARS Letter of Opinion, the bat exhibits outstanding player characteristics and heavy professional use consistent with Yount’s documented professional gamers from the era.

MEARS notes include:
Heavy game use throughout
Heavy ball marks and stitch marks present
Dead wood characteristics evident
Pine tar handle preparation
Correct uniform number “19” present
Player traits consistent with Robin Yount professional models
Factory records match
Uncracked handle condition
Louisville Slugger P72 signature model
35 inches / 31 ounces
Ash wood construction

The combination of heavy documented use, strong player characteristics, matching factory records, and the highest MEARS game-used grade designation resulted in the exceptional final A10 grade.

The bat has been signed by Robin Yount along the barrel, creating an outstanding display piece combining elite game-use characteristics with the autograph of one of baseball’s most accomplished players.

The autograph was submitted to James Spence Authentication (JSA) during the 2026 Montreal Expo and has successfully passed authentication. The official JSA Full Letter of Authenticity (LOA) is currently being processed and will be provided to the winning bidder once received.

A lifelong Milwaukee Brewer and one of the most respected players of his generation, Yount was a two-time American League MVP, three-time All-Star, Gold Glove Award winner, and member of baseball’s exclusive 3,000 hit club. Remarkably, Yount remains one of the few players in Major League history to win MVP awards at two different positions, establishing himself as both an elite shortstop and center fielder during his Hall of Fame career.

Authenticated game-used bats from 3,000-hit club members remain highly desirable among collectors, particularly signed examples displaying heavy use characteristics and achieving the coveted MEARS A10 designation.
