The display commemorates the famous at-bat in which light-hitting Yankees infielder Bucky Dent launched a dramatic go-ahead home run over Fenway Park’s Green Monster off Red Sox pitcher Mike Torrez, helping propel the Yankees to a 5–4 victory and eventual World Series championship. The engraved presentation plaque references the iconic moment commonly remembered as the “Bucky Dent Game.”
Both Dent and Torrez have signed the display in blue marker, creating a unique dual-signed piece tied directly to one of the defining moments in the historic Yankees–Red Sox rivalry.
