This finely executed hand painted portrait plaque is titled: Rembrand's Mutter(Rembrandt's Mother). The original painting by Rembrandt circa 1639 is on permanent display in the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna. This 19th century example bears the beehive mark of Royal Vienna together with an impressed sceptre KPM mark numbered 237-158. Plaque size: 9.25 x 6.5 inches (not including frame).
