Oil on board titled Adoration of the Magi showing a dynamic visual narrative of the journey of the Magi to Bethlehem recounted in the Gospel of Matthew. The original was commissioned by Palli Strazza (1372-1462) for his family chapel, a Florentine church of Santa Trinità and is now on permament display at the Uffizi Gallery, Florence. The heavily carved giltwood frame bears numerous small paintings throught. Main painting size 22x29 inches (Frame size: 38x36 inches).
