Frank Thomas, nicknamed “The Big Hurt,” became one of the defining offensive stars of the 1990s, capturing two American League MVP Awards while starring for the Chicago White Sox. Eddie Mathews established himself as one of the premier power hitters of the postwar era, finishing his Hall of Fame career with 512 home runs and starring for the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves. Rafael Palmeiro enjoyed a remarkably productive career highlighted by consistent power and longevity across multiple decades.
