Dennis Martínez became one of the most successful Latin American pitchers in Major League history and famously threw a perfect game in 1991. Jim Kaat built a remarkable 25-year career highlighted by 283 victories and 16 Gold Gloves, eventually earning Hall of Fame induction. Moose Skowron starred as a power-hitting member of the Yankees dynasty years of the 1950s and 1960s, while Don Gullett played a key role in multiple championship teams with Cincinnati and New York.
