Jose Canseco Game Used Rawlings Adirondack Bat (Greenshields Collection)
A Rawlings Adirondack professional model bat attributed to game use by Jose Canseco, one of baseball's most iconic power hitters of the late 1980s & a central figure in the Oakland Athletics' championship era.
The bat displays strong evidence of game use, including visible ball marks, stitch impressions, & blue transfer marks consistent with game contact. There is also noticeable surface wear & handling wear throughout, with a well-defined use pattern along the barrel. A green tape ring is present on the handle, consistent with player grip customization.
The barrel is stamped Jose Canseco - Athletics, & the knob features a handwritten 33, matching Canseco's uniform number & typical clubhouse identification practices.
Canseco was the 1988 American League MVP & the first player in MLB history to record a 40 home run / 40 stolen base season. As a key member of the Bash Brothers alongside Mark McGwire, he remains a highly recognizable figure from one of baseball's most memorable eras.
