The stick features a natural wood shaft with Northland branding and markings from Gunzo's Sports Center of Berwyn, Illinois, a well-known hockey equipment supplier. Additional markings include "Custom Pro," reflecting its professional-style construction.

The stick exhibits substantial signs of use, including scuffing, abrasions, stick and puck marks, and extensive wear throughout the shaft and blade. The blade retains black hockey tape showing considerable wear, while the upper handle features heavily discoloured cloth tape with visible fraying and loose sections.

Doug Mohns enjoyed an impressive 22-season NHL career, appearing in 1,390 regular-season games with the Boston Bruins, Chicago Black Hawks, Minnesota North Stars, Atlanta Flames and Washington Capitals. A seven-time NHL All-Star, Mohns was recognized for his versatility, playing both forward and defence throughout his career.
