Historic framed photograph signed by Brooklyn Dodgers outfielder Al Gionfriddo, commemorating his famous Game 6 catch during the 1947 World Series against the New York Yankees.
The image captures Gionfriddo’s legendary running catch on Joe DiMaggio’s deep drive to left-center field at Yankee Stadium, one of the defining defensive plays in World Series history. Gionfriddo has personally signed the photograph and added the inscription “I robbed DiMaggio,” directly referencing the iconic play. Additional notation references the date “10-5-47.”
