Issued between 1909 and 1911 by the American Caramel Company, the E90-1 series is widely regarded as one of the premier caramel card sets of the pre-war era and is highly respected for its vibrant artwork, Hall of Fame roster, and notable rarity compared to many tobacco-era counterparts. The set features numerous key Deadball Era stars and remains a cornerstone issue among advanced vintage collectors.

Claude Rossman played first base for the Cleveland Naps during the early 1900s and was recognized as a reliable defensive infielder during baseball’s formative Deadball Era years.
